Graphic Designer at MagicSchool, Remote (Global)

As a Graphic Designer at MagicSchool, you will bring our “Teachers are Magic” brand to life through engaging, high-quality visuals. You’ll execute creative direction, ensuring brand consistency across digital and print while incorporating basic motion graphics where needed. With a strong foundation in graphic design and an eye for structured, imaginative visuals, you’ll help craft compelling experiences for educators and students.

Responsibilities:

Brand Execution

  • Work closely with marketing and creative teams to execute and maintain MagicSchool’s visual identity across all platforms.
  • Ensure 100% consistency in brand execution across digital and print, adhering to creative direction from internal stakeholders and our branding agency.
  • Understand how to balance brand guidelines with creative innovation, knowing when to push the brand’s visual identity forward and when to stay within defined parameters.

Graphic Design

  • Design visually compelling assets for digital and print, including social media, web banners, email templates, brochures, trade show materials, and more.
  • Take existing creative direction and execute high-quality designs.
  • Support marketing collateral updates, such as presentations, infographics, and promotional materials.
  • Contribute to web design projects, ensuring optimized layouts and strong user experience.
  • Develop creative visuals for product launches, advertisements, and campaigns, ensuring they align with marketing goals.

Motion Graphics & Interactive Elements

  • Enhance web design, ads, and social media with motion skills
  • Experience with AI-powered motion tools or a willingness to learn and experiment is a strong plus.

Collaborative & Strategic Design

  • Partner with marketing, product, and sales teams to ensure cohesive design solutions that support business objectives.
  • Apply strong design principles (hierarchy, flow, and structure) to create polished, easy-to-navigate designs.
  • Help drive engagement through thoughtful, whimsical designs that align with our playful yet professional brand.

Creative Problem-Solving & Industry Awareness

  • Bring a structured approach to design work, ensuring consistency and clarity in all deliverables.
  • Stay up to date with design trends, tools, and techniques, integrating new approaches to improve efficiency and quality.
  • Bring a strong sense of imagination and creativity, aligning with our brand’s potential to lean into illustrative styles where appropriate.

Required Qualifications & Experience:

  • 2+ years of experience in graphic design, visual communication, or motion graphics.
  • Expertise in Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator, InDesign, Photoshop).
  • A strong portfolio that showcases brand identity work, structured design principles, creativity, and visual storytelling—ideally with a touch of whimsy.

Preferred Qualifications & Experience:

  • Basic motion skills in After Effects or similar tools.
  • Experience with Figma and Canva.
  • EdTech experience.
