Job Title: Assistant Logistic Manager

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure truck availability as per daily available orders
  • Process all available sales orders and ensure timely dispatch
  • Coordinate with transporters to ensure timely delivery of goods within standard lead time
  • Analyze logistics data to identify inefficiencies and recommend improvements
  • Prepare and circulate daily the dispatch report and escalate dispatch issues with respect to transit
  • shortage/damage, credit note to customer and truck breakdowns
  • Maintain a healthy relationship with logistics service providers
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant government laws and regulations
  • Follow health and safety regulations at all times
  • Adhere to all company policies and procedures
  • Perform other duties as assigned by line manager

Requirements:

  • Minimum of HND certificate in any related discipline
  • Minimum of 4 years working experience in an FMCG environment
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to use basic data analysis tools for reporting
